cool books!

Okay, so first of all, so happy it's spring break!!!!!! :D :D Second, Im going to my aunt and uncles house tomorow, and celebrating easter there the next day, with an egg hunt and everything! So excited!!!!
Well, I thought that since im totally bored right now, I'll post books that you guys should check out! (I'll even rate them, too)
Under the Watson's Porch- by Susan Shreve-Middle Grade Fiction book. I read this in two days, I was so addicted. **** four stars
summary: The novel opens on Ellie Tremont's 12th birthday; she is the quintessential bored preteen. Her summer begins to look up when she meets her new neighbor. Tommy Bowers, 13, is a foster child with lots of swagger, a mysterious past, and bad-boy appeal, and Ellie senses right away that her parents won't like him. He decides that they should run a camp under the elderly and deaf Watson sisters' porch on Saturday mornings for the little kids in the neighborhood. The children love the charismatic boy and he genuinely enjoys entertaining them. She helps Tommy with the camp, even though her parents warned her about him. She stops going out with her friends and family, waiting for presumptuous and controlling Tommy to call. He steals an expensive necklace from his foster mother and gives it to Ellie; she is suspicious, but wants to believe everything he says.
The Chosen One- by Carol Lynch Williams- YA novel. REALLY AMAZING!!!!!! I totally recomend this!!!
*****- five stars
Summary: 13-year-old Kyra lives in an isolated polygamist cult. Life in the compound is as dry as the surrounding desert, more confining than the chain-link fence on its perimeter. But Kyra finds small freedoms despite the tightly controlled communal environment and is able to slip outside to wander the desert. There she chances upon a friendly book-mobile driver who opens the world of children's literature to her. Kyra even begins a flirtation with her classmate, Joshua, a dangerous sin for which they will both pay dearly. The brutal leader, Prophet Childs, has plans for Kyra and will brook no disobedience. He assigns her to be the seventh wife of her own 60-year-old uncle. Repelled, she resists. She and Joshua are badly beaten and she is told that other young people have been killed for taking a similarly defiant stand. Kyra's loving father is powerless to help her and counsels her to accept her fate, but she cannot.
Saving Zoe- By Alyson Noel- YA novel. omg. this book is really suspenseful, and you totally won't expect what's coming next. Loved it so much!
*****- five stars
Summary: Meet fifteen-year-old Echo, a typical teen trying to survive high school without being totally traumatized by boy trouble, friend drama, and school issues. As if she didn't have enough on her plate, Echo is also still dealing with the murder of her sister Zoë. Although it's been over a year, Echo is still reeling from tragedy that changed everything. Beautiful and full of life, Zoë was the glue that held her family together, and although the two sisters were as different as night and day, they still had a bond that Echo can't let go of. When Zoë's old boyfriend Marc shows up one day with Zoë's diary, Echo doesn't think there's anything in there she doesn't already know. But as she gives in to curiosity and starts reading, she learns that her sister led a secret life that no one could have guessed--not even Echo.
